Here is his FatCow web hosting review:

FatCow has been a great web host to work with for the past two years I've been with them. FatCow has pros and cons like any host, which I plan to detail below.

FatCow Pros:

Price: FatCow has excellent prices, without a doubt. For just $66 you can host your website for a whole year, and if you choose, they will also give you a free domain for the first year as well.

Customer Service: Their telephone customer service is great. They are usually able to help me fix problems unless it is something serious that needs to be referred to upper management (only happened once). One time I called and was surprised at how quick they answered (30 seconds) and were able to fix my login issue (5 minutes). I asked the guy where he is located and he said Georgia. Nice to see FatCow employing US service reps!

Features: Nice. They now give you unlimited everything! That means you have unlimited domains, unlimited web space, and unlimited bandwidth. This doesn't mean you can put 1TB of files on your account, but you can use a reasonable amount and not have to worry.

FatCow Cons:

Customer Service Tickets and Live Chat: I'm not fond of these service. In the few times I've used them, I usually end up getting the run around and no direct answers unless the questions are easier to handle. I've noticed a few times where you can tell they aren't native English speaking people answering. So although the phone support is great, I don't like the ticket system.

Speed of Sites: Meh, this *is* cheap, shared hosting, but I feel sometimes my site is stuck on turtle power. It isn't all the time, but often during US peak usage hours, my site is unresponsive. Lately it has gotten better, but still not fast like their advertising suggests.

MySQL Databases: I made the mistake of trying a forum on a new domain I purchased. I didn't realize that forums take a lot of processing power, that coupled with their MySQL service, it just wasn't a great experience. If you run sites with heavy MySQL usage, don't choose FatCow. You will need $10/mo+ hosting for that.

FatCow Overall:

I highly recommend FatCow for most people, you do get all your monies worth going through them. Just don't expect $150/mo dedicated server speeds and service on a dime budget, that's just not reasonable.
